Mobile Aspects gets ISO certification

Health care technology provider Mobile Aspects Inc. has announced its certification under the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standard. Pittsburgh-based Mobile Aspects provides of RFID-enabled clinical resource management solutions, many of them based on the company’s flagship tracking architecture, the Intelligent Radio Frequency Inventory System (iRIS).


ISO 9001:2000 is an international Quality Management System standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization. The standard was developed to offer assurance that companies have established and maintained a uniform quality management system. The certification covers all processes in design and development, manufacturing, installation, and servicing of products.

To be certified, companies must implement a comprehensive quality management system addressing all areas of operation. Mobile Aspects was certified following audit and registration activities conducted by TUV Rheinland GmbH. [end]
